ANSAR of Sacramento Valley hopes to serve as institutional helpers for new Afghan arrivals by facilitating comprehensive support services needed to adjust to life in the Sacramento Valley area, home of the nation's largest concentrations of Afghan refugees.

ANSAR of Sacramento Valley currently includes the following organizations:
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), grassroots civil rights and advocacy group. CAIR is America’s largest Islamic civil liberties group, with regional offices nationwide. The national headquarters is located on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. The California offices are located in San Francisco, Sacramento, San Diego, and Greater Los Angeles.
Muslim American Society-Social Services Foundation is a non-profit that aims to aid families at large and the Muslim community in particular with their social services needs.
Al-Misbaah’ is a 501(C)(3) providing charitable aid, refugee assistance to families in need, community education, as well as youth activities.
REDA is a community based, not-for-profit organization that provides refugee families and new legal immigrants with help and support in dealing with their daily logistical challenges in the USA.
The mission of ICNA is to enhance the understanding of Islam, educate American Muslims, support efforts for civil liberties, socio-economic justice in the society and strengthen the bond of humanity.
Islamic Relief is an international aid agency that provides humanitarian relief and development programs in over 40 countries, serving communities in need regardless of race, political affiliation, gender or belief.
The Council of Sacramento Valley Islamic Organizations (COSVIO) provides services to Muslim organizations in the Greater Sacramento Area, promote dialogue and coordinate community activities among its members and enhance Islamic understanding among people of all faiths.
